Responsive Handling

Returning the G Sedan's chassis with more welds has increased rigidity to help improve handling and , along with the revised suspension geometry, provide a better translation from the road to the steering wheel. Improved rigidity also helps the suspension soak up road vibrations so your hands don't have to. Beyond mere handling, it's about tightening the connection between input, action, and elation.

Also, available are side mirrors that adjust if you slide the seat forward or back, keeping the side view just as you like it. The Sport Model adds adjustable leg-side and torso side bolsters along with a thigh extension that you can fine-tune for performance driving.

Infiniti Studio on Wheels™ by Bose®
The 10-speaker Bose®audio system available in the G Sedan was designed to help music retain its organic, hand-made feel. It starts with a Burr-Brown 24-bit DAC, which reads and reproduces the sound in more detail. Rejecting the standard approach to surround sound, our designers recognized that live music is usually enjoyed as it comes toward you from its source. So they created the first system designed to deliver the music's power from the front, with sound washing through the cabin from the front to the back. This is aided by the skilled placement of speakers, including 10-inch woofers that vehicle's front doors were literally designed around. The High Technology Package adds a 9.3GB built-in Music Box hard drive, letting you download, store and organize up to 200 hours of music (approximately 2,900 songs.)

Infiniti Controller
The Infiniti Controller gives you complete control of the Vehicle Information System and available navigation system in the manner that best suits you. With clear buttons that let you jump to major systems and a secondary set of traditional controls for audio and climate, you can use the central control knob as much or as little as you desire. When equipped with the Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation system, some functions can even be controlled by interacting with the vehicle's touch-screen display. The system responds to you instead of you conforming to the system.

Infiniti Intelligent Key
Without being removed from your pocket or purse, the Infiniti Intelligent Key notifies the G Sedan that you are approaching, signaling the vehicle to unlock your door or trunk when you touch the sensor. Inside, the Infiniti Intelligent Key directs the seat and steering wheel to adjust to your personal setting. It even lets you start the engine while remaining in your pocket.

Safety
Infiniti Advanced Air Bag System
The Infiniti Advanced Air bag system (AABS) includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor that adjust their inflation rate depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front passenger's seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the air bag. Seat-mounted side-impact air bags move with the seat to help maintain optimal positioning. Roof-mounted curtain side-impact air bags help protect front and outboard rear occupants during certain side collisions.

Enhanced Stability
In an evasive maneuver, holding to your steered course is paramount. If the vehicle begins to understeer or oversteer, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) applies brake pressure to individual wheels and/or reduces engine output to help you keep on track. The Traction Control System (TCS) senses wheelspin and automatically reduces engine output and/or brakes the spinning wheel for a surer foothold when accelerating.

Headlights
To help give you a better view of what's ahead, High Intensity discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlights deliver a brighter, more defined beam pattern compared to conventional headlights. Based on vehicle speed and steering angle, the available Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) can pivot the headlights up to 15 degrees to the left to better illuminate curves.

Preview Braking
The Preview Braking System is designed to help anticipate your need to brake. When the available Intelligent Cruise Control laser sensors detect a rapidly closing distance to a vehicle ahead, it pre-pressurizes the brakes so the vehicle is ready to brake when you are. The system also responds the same way when it senses that you've suddenly lifted off the gas pedal.
